This canvas, titled “Serenity,” is an “aerosolic tonal exploration” between ellipses of different sizes, with two primary colors. This colorplay is rooted in some of my earlier “street art” fill-ins. I chose the title “Serenity” as it generally refers to a state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. Perhaps that was my mindset at the time of painting this, and also the feeling of the shapes and colors within the confines of the canvas. While the canvas is confining, the shapes are untroubled, conveying to the viewer their full path of intention.
