In preparation for our crew show “*KINGS ARRIVE”, I wanted to have something a little more “graff-style” and what says graffiti more than a marker tag! I took the 12 canvases and lined them up on the wall, and used Dang brand spray paint for the atmospheric background. Then I took an old Sakara brand “Pen-Touch” one-inch wide silver metallic paint marker, of which I discovered has sadly been discontinued, and laid up my “R1” signature “symbol” or “logo” onto each of the canvases. This “R1” has developed over the years as a “put the marker onto the surface and “one stroke” out the symbol. Then I did my simple “RAD ONE” on the bottom of each as well – just so you know…
Acrylic aerosol and silver paint marker on twelve separate 8” x 10” canvases.
These are “Original Artworks that are Signed, dated, and numbered one through twelve. These RAD1 signature canvases were completed on October 13th. 2024.
