This canvas, titled “OUTLOOK,” is an “aerosolic exploration” and a bit atmospheric with its waves or sky-like feeling. However, I drew loosely upon my experience in the garment industry, specifically with “all-over” print designs for t-shirts. We would typically “trap” this airy quality with a tight graphic print overlay. I’ve been thinking about this more recently, considering how I could hand-make stencils and create a possible series of new wave t-shirts. It could be a fun project with more time provided!
