Two Thousand Twenty Two will forever be a wild year for The United Kings! But, being asked to come back and paint again for the second annual ATL Style Writers Wall Jam is some major expialidochoues extra special sauce!
For 2023, we painted very close to where we painted last year at the West End Brewery Gardens. This time we painted down on the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail, where it goes under the road of Murphy Avenue SW (Google Map Link). It is very easy to walk to where the walls are if you park in the massive parking lot of the West End Brewery Gardens (Google Map Link). The address there is: 1000 White St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
For 2022, everyone wanted us to recreate the wall we did in 1986 at the King Memorial Wall, as seen on the poster for the City of Kings documentary.

For 2023, we were given a much larger wall, more in the size that we used to do back in the day! For this second edition of the ATL Style Writers Wall Jam, our man Just One, team boss for The United Kings, drew up the “YARD KINGS,” and in true TUK fashion, we hit the wall working. While we were on the wall, Just One started working on the alien character because you know this is the land of the “ATLIENS!”
Spanning something like 65 feet long and way over our heads – this is the YARD KINGS.

Below are the individual image details shot in our old print “connecto” fashion:
